Our idea was to keep the concept simple; importing best quality glass beads, pearls and crystal and create eye-catching unique jewels manufactured in small quantities by hand in western Finland, in Pori. The name "Castafiore" comes from the Tintin adventure book “Les bijoux de la Castafiore” (Castafioren korut). Castafiore is also a fairytale of a 9-year old girl who decided about 30 years ago to be “an owner of a big bead factory”: Me, Elina! Boutique Nana is a retailshop and also a workshop .
